Goal

• test new functionality added since 4.5
• verify that severe bugs are correctly fixed
• verify that all 4.5.2 bugs are correctly fixed

General Functionality

• Look for potential layout issues. Several places in the code got changed to use Composite#requestLayout.

Test New Functionality

Quick Assist to configure problem severity (Dani, Markus - Questions: Noopur)

• verify that the quick fix appears where expected
• verify that the quick fix works
• verify that the quick fix icon no longer appears in the hover's status line

Substring completion (Markus, Dani - Questions: Noopur)

• verify that substring completion works for members
• verify that substring completion works for templates
• verify that substring completion works for keywords (this is not yet ready, see bug 486359)

Emphasized matching characters in completion proposals (Markus, Dani - Questions: Noopur)

• verify that the characters who match the content assist string are emphasized in the proposal list for all proposals

'date' template variable allows to specify the format (Noopur, Markus - Questions: Dani)

• verify that templates, which use the simple form, insert the date with the same format as in 4.5.1
• verify that the additional proposal info is correct
• verify that the formatting works as specified
• verify that the description in the help (F1) is OK
