First released in 2006 by Oleander Software, Readability Studio has been the premier readability software for writers, educators, and researchers alike. From academia, hospitals, insurance companies, and publishing houses, our software has been trusted to improve the experience of reading and writing for users worldwide.

In 2025, Readability Studio found its new home within the Eclipse Foundation, where it is now free and open source.
