Configuring the server name by using the Amlen WebUI

System administrators can view and configure the Eclipse Amlen server name by using the Server Control page in the Amlen WebUI.

You can view and configure the server name by using the Amlen WebUI, or by using REST Administration APIs. For more information about using REST Administration APIs to configure the server name, see Configuring the server name by using REST Administration APIs.

  1. Go to the Server Control page by selecting Server Control from the Server menu.
  2. Choose an action from the Server Control pane:
    • To retrieve the server name, view the information that is displayed in the Server name field. This value shows the server name.
    • To set the server name, click Edit in the Server name field. In the window that opens, specify a server name.
      • The maximum length of the name is 64 characters.
      • Names can contain characters in the ranges a-z, A-Z, 0-9 and the special character - only.
