Install the adapter into WebSphere® Application
Server and make the Eclipse Amlen resource adapter
available to applications.
The Eclipse Amlen resource adapter is available as part of
the JMS client download. The JMS client can be obtained from the IBM® IoT MessageSight page on developerWorks®.
Complete the following steps to install the adapter into WebSphere Application
Server and make the Eclipse Amlen resource adapter
(ima.jmsra.rar file) available to applications.
- From the WebSphere Application
Server administrative
console, select Resources > Resource
Adapters > Resource adapters, and
select the appropriate scope for your configuration.
Scope
specifies the level at which the resource definition is visible.
- Click Install RAR to install a new
resource adapter.
- Enter the path to the ima.jmsra.rar file.
You can either upload a ima.jmsra.rar file from
the local file system or specify an existing ima.jmsra.rar file
on any of the nodes in your cell context.
- Select the node where you want to install the ima.jmsra.rar file.
You must install the file on each node separately.
- Click Next.
- The Configuration window for the resource
adapter that is selected opens. The Configuration window
shows information that is gathered from the deployment descriptor.
- Click OK.
- Save the configuration.
- Synchronize the nodes if appropriate
for your environment.
