Changing the state of an XA transaction branch by using the Amlen WebUI

System administrators can change the state of an XA transaction branch that is in prepared state or in a heuristically complete state.

You can change the state of an XA transaction branch that is in prepared state, or in a heuristically complete state, by using the Amlen WebUI, or by using REST Administration APIs. For more information about using REST Administration APIs to change the state of an XA transaction branch that is in prepared state, or in a heuristically complete state, see Changing the state of an XA transaction branch by using REST Administration APIs.

Change the state of the XA transaction branch only when you are certain that the transaction cannot be resolved by the normal protocols. Changing the state independently of the transaction manager might result in the loss of transactional integrity between Eclipse Amlen and other resource managers involved in the XA transaction.

Note:

To change the visibility of the data that is shown in a table, enter a value into Filter. The filter is applied to all of the pages in the table. You can filter on columns that contain icons by entering the value that is shown in the icon hover help into the Filter field. To clear the filter, click Clear Filter.

  1. Select Monitoring > Transactions.
  2. In the Transactions table, select the XA transaction branch for which you need to change the state:
    • To commit the XA transaction branch, click Actions, and select Commit
    • To forget the XA transaction branch, click Actions, and select Forget
    • To roll back the XA transaction branch, click Actions, and select Rollback

The Timestamp is updated to show the time that query is generated.

The Transactions table is updated to display the results of the query and any filter that is applied to those results.

You can view the total number of items that are returned in the Total field. You can see the number of items that are selected in the Selected field. You can move through the table of results by using Next Page and Previous Page or Go to a specific page. You can change the number of items to view per page by selecting from the available options.
